Why:
As a kid, my world was a playground of imagination, sparked by grainy old horror movies—Bela Lugosi’s Dracula, Boris Karloff’s Frankenstein—where foggy graveyards felt alive with mystery. Harry Houdini, the escape artist who laughed at locked boxes and icy rivers, showed me the impossible was just a problem waiting to be solved. I built haunted mansions from model kits, turned dirt piles into battlefields for my toy army men, and scripted sagas with castles and pirate ships. Books fueled it all—Poe’s eerie tales, Conan Doyle’s mysteries, and other greats like The Shining (what 11 year old reads The Shining for Pete's sake?!). They weren’t just stories; they were rocket fuel for my creativity.
Today, We see kids lost in screens, their playtime dictated by algorithms, not imagination. It stings. That’s why I’m creating Ghosts in the Graveyard—and more games to come. I want to inspire kids to unplug, play, and dream wildly. Play isn’t just fun; it’s how kids learn empathy, solve problems, and bounce back from failure with a grin and a “I'll get you next time!”
My games aren’t just games; they’re playsets—open worlds where kids make their own rules, spin ghost stories, or hunt hidden treasures under the stars. Ghosts in the Graveyard turns a simple game of tag into a canvas for laughter and legends.
Let’s bring back real imagination. Let’s build worlds, one Peculiar Game at a time, and make imagination infectious again. Join me—parents, teachers, dreamers—and let’s spark wonder together.
